The world may be on pause but our Greenville students continue to rise in the arts. This show is dedicated to our talented students who have continued to work with limited materials and resources. We are SO PROUD OF THEM!

We asked them to rise to the occasion and they did.

The Getty Museum of Amsterdam and Los Angeles started an Art Challenge during the stay-at-home Covid 19 orders. They invited people to recreate art using objects from around their home. The challenge took off and people had a lot of fun. Greenville School District joined in and you can see some familiar faces above. Ms. DellaRocco's photography students do this for an assignment each year; allowing students to show off their creativity and humor. If you at home want to give this a try, please share it on GCSD Facebook or @GCSartroom on Instagram!
Here is Ms. DellaRocco's Photography Class & a Spectrum News Story about it. |

The importance of art in our schools cannot be overstated. It touches the lives of everyone who walks through the school doors and down our halls with our rich music and art programs. Most recently, it has been great to see the recreated art that our students and faculty have produced. Their creativity and attention to detail in order to capture the essence of the original piece is truly inspiring. - Matt Ward- High School Principal
